These terms apply when you visit or use Golf Day Results. By using the service, you agree to these terms and our Privacy and Cookie Policies.
Who may use Golf Day Results
You must be at least 13 to create an account or use organiser tools. If you are under 18, you should use the service with the knowledge of a parent, guardian, club or responsible organiser.
Creating and managing an Event Hub
Organisers are responsible for the accuracy of event details, player names, handicaps, scores and other information they add. You must have a reasonable basis to publish information about other players and should obtain permission where appropriate, especially for junior golfers.
If you upload event photographs, course images, logos or other media, you must have permission from the photographer, rights holder and, where appropriate, the people shown. You are responsible for making sure that the material may be published publicly through Golf Day Results.
You must not use Golf Day Results to publish unlawful, abusive, misleading, discriminatory, infringing or deliberately harmful material.
Public content
Event Hubs, player profiles, stories, results and leaderboards may be publicly available and indexed by search engines. Make sure public information is suitable before publishing it. We may correct, restrict or remove content where reasonably necessary.
Your content
You keep ownership of content you provide. You give Golf Day Results permission to host, process, format, display and adapt that content only as needed to operate, improve and promote the service and the relevant Event Hub.
You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed for anything you submit, including photographs, course imagery, logos and other media.
Golf Day Results content
The Golf Day Results name, branding, design, software, editorial presentation and original content belong to Golf Day Results or its licensors. You may enjoy and share public Event Hubs for personal and event-related purposes, but you may not copy the service or use its content commercially without permission.
AI-created features
Some stories, insights and analysis are created with artificial intelligence. They are intended for entertainment and editorial context. We cannot promise that every generated statement will be complete or accurate, and users should check important facts.
Availability and changes
We work to keep Golf Day Results available, but the service may sometimes be interrupted, changed or withdrawn. Features marked “launching soon” are plans rather than promises of a particular release date.
Free and paid services
The free tier is intended to remain available, although its included features may evolve. Prices, renewal terms and cancellation information for paid products will be shown clearly before purchase. Payments will be handled through Stripe when paid services launch.
Liability
Golf Day Results is provided for event organisation, scoring, memories and entertainment. It is not a substitute for official club records, handicap authorities, safety advice or professional services.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by law, Golf Day Results is not responsible for indirect losses, lost opportunities, user-submitted inaccuracies or events outside reasonable control.
Ending access
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or end access where these terms are seriously or repeatedly breached, where necessary to protect users or the service, or where required by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts in England and Wales will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer rights that apply where you live.
